Daphne Wong's London Exhibition
Daphne Wong, a young, energetic and starving travelling artist and photographer will be one of the artists having works exhibited atShowcase-London on 22nd July, 2009.
At this exhibition, a series of oil paintings on wood panels by Daphne will be showcased. The paintings are based on both Daphne's photography and her imagination, displaying a strong sense of detachment and loneliness. She is highly attentive to details and very brave in selecting colours, resulting in a 'messy' impressionistic style.

Before the Exile
Before the Exile is my first solo exhibition. I was trying to hold a farewell party in the name of an exhibition. I hardly had any confidence at that time and it was my friend's idea.
It came to me quite a surprise when most of the works are sold, most are bought by a gallery owner in Central.
Anyway, be it luck or my capability, it's behind me now.
